Team Registration

Tournament registration will be held on Tuesday evening, October 6th at Clinton G. Martin Park located at 1650 Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park. Registration will take place from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

A requirement of acceptance is that you must enter your team roster online. If you have not already done so or you need to update your information, log in to your team account at and click on the roster tab. Your online roster will be used to expedite your team registration.
You or a team representative must attend registration night with the following items:
 2 copies of your team roster which must be printed from your team page at Soccer Scheduler.
Player Passes (carded players) or Birth Certificates (non-carded players).
Medical Release forms (must be current calendar year).
Any APPROVED Permission to Travel form (if needed).

Any APPROVED guest player forms.

Please note that food and beverages will be available at all venues.
General Information

This year’s tournament for U9 through U14 age groups will be ONE DAY:
Girls travel teams will play on Saturday, October 10th
Boys travel teams will play on Sunday, October 11th
Teams are guaranteed three (3) games, with World Cup style play. The entry cost for U9, U10 and U11 teams is $450 and U12 through U14 teams is $475.
There will be games played at night under the lights.

Teams will be seeded into groups, with major, intermediate, and minor brackets offered whenever possible.  The North Hempstead Cup reserves the right to combine age groups, if appropriate and to create alternate bracket groupings based on availability and level of teams participating.  If there is significant imbalance between the number of participating girls and boys teams, the North Hempstead Cup may request one or more brackets to play on the alternate day.  Any such request will be subject to the approval of all teams within the bracket.

This is a patch exchange tournament. Teams are expected to have an adequate number of team patches to exchange with opposing team players and coaches after each game. U9, U10 and U11 age groups will play 50 minute games and U12 through U14 age groups will play 60 minute games.

Food and beverages will be available at all venues.

Refunds will not be given to teams who withdraw after acceptances and/or rejections have been mailed.
The application deadline is midnight, Wednesday, September 23rd.
After that, teams will be put on a waitlist while brackets are completed.

All participating teams must be properly registered and in good standing with USYSA, US Club Soccer or Say Soccer (or their national equivalents) and sanctioned by their state or national soccer association.  Each team must submit a Team Roster approved by the League, Club President, Registrar, or designated officer at the time of registration.

All out of state teams must present permission-to-travel forms approved by their state / national association at registration.

All teams must also present a medical release form for each rostered and/or guest player at Registration.

All players must be born in the year of their age classification or later.  Player registration cards duly authorized by a team’s state or national soccer association or equivalent shall be required as proof of age and eligibility.

No player is allowed to be registered with more than one team for this tournament nor may a player transfer from one team to another in this tournament.

Guest players will be allowed with up to a maximum of 3 guest players playing with the purpose of maintaining a team’s competitiveness.  Players from the same Club but not rostered to the team will be considered a guest although an exception will be made for up to five (5) guest players within the same club and age group. Unlimited U-9 guest players from the same club will be allowed.


Should the tournament be canceled in its entirety due to weather conditions, teams will receive an 80% refund of their registration fee.
Payment Policy

Once registered, payment must be received by the tournament within 5 days or your application may be canceled. You must also enter your player information in the online roster.

Should the tournament be canceled in its entirety due to weather conditions, teams will receive an 80% refund of their registration fee. Monday is not a rain makeup date.
