General Information

This year's tournament for U9 through U14 age groups will be ONE DAY:
Girls U9-U12 travel teams will play on Saturday, October 6th
Boys U9-U12 travel teams will play on Sunday, October 7th

All Girls and Boys U13-14 travel teams will play on Saturday, October 6th.
Due to limited field space, interested teams in U13-U14 age groups should register ASAP as we may need to close registration early in these age groups.


Teams are guaranteed three (3) games. The entry fee for U9 through U12 teams is $475 and U13 through U14 teams is $500. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLEWe accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and e-check payments. Refunds will not be given to teams who withdraw after acceptance.

There will be morning and afternoon sessions.
Sessions for U9-U12
AM sessions can run from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
PM sessions can run from 2:30/3:00 PM to 8:30/9:00 PM, which would be played under the lights
Sessions for U13-U14
AM sessions can run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
PM sessions can run from 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM, which would be played under the lights

Teams will be seeded into groups of 4, with major, intermediate, and minor brackets offered whenever possible.  The North Hempstead Cup reserves the right to combine age groups, if appropriate and to create alternate bracket groupings based on availability and level of teams participating. This is a patch exchange tournament. Teams are expected to have an adequate number of team patches to exchange with opposing team players and coaches after each game. U9 through U12 age groups will play 50 minute games and U13 through U14 age groups will play 60 minute games. Food and beverages will be available at all venues.



All participating teams must be properly registered and in good standing with the USYSA (or national equivalent) and sanctioned by their state or national soccer association.  Only Club Teams with a maximum of three (3) guest players are accepted.  Each team must submit a Team Roster approved by the League, Club President, Registrar, or designated officer. 


All players must be born in the year of their age classification or later.  Player registration cards duly authorized by a team’s state or national soccer association or equivalent shall be required and uploaded as proof of age and eligibility.


All teams must upload a medical release form for each rostered and/or guest player.


All teams must upload approved guest player forms for each guest player.


All out of state teams must upload permission-to-travel forms approved by their state / national association.


No player is allowed to be registered with more than one team or to transfer from one team to another during the tournament. Guest players will be allowed with up to a maximum of 3 guest players playing with the purpose of maintaining a team’s competitiveness.  There is an unlimited amount of guest players from the same club.



Should the tournament be canceled in its entirety due to weather conditions, teams will receive an 80% refund of their registration fee.

The following items  should be uploaded upon submitting your application,
Player Passes (carded players) or Birth Certificates (non-carded players) in alphabetical order.
Medical Release forms (must be current calendar year) in alphabetical order.
Any APPROVED Permission to Travel form (if needed).
Any APPROVED guest player forms.
